Trash

After you’ve done your best to reduce, reuse and recycle, the RDF will accept your residential solid waste. In order to avoid any fees, the waste must originate from the one Wellesley residence at which the occupant resides, and the wastes must be delivered in a vehicle with a valid RDF permit and personally operated by the resident.  There are designated areas for household trash and bulky waste . If you have any questions, please call us at (781) 235-7600 extension 3345.

Textiles & Mattress Disposal

Nearly 100% of donated textiles are reused or recycled and are now prohibited from trash disposal.  Mattresses, old T-shirts and socks, footwear, curtains, sheets and stuffed animals. All of these items, and more, can be dropped off at the Wellesley Recycling and Disposal Facility (RDF) giving them a second life and keeping them out of landfills.  Use the RDF's donation containers or contact Big Brother Big Sister to schedule a pickup. Keep these items out of the trash and thank you for recycling!
