Heat Pump Forum 2025

Over 100 Wellesley residents gathered for a Heat Pump Forum & Pizza Party on October 16th from 6:30-8:30pm at the Wellesley Free Library. Attendees heard from heat pump experts, Town staff, and neighbors about how heating and cooling your home with electric heat pumps can lower your energy bills and carbon footprint. Participants heard presentations, asked questions, and left with a basic understanding of:

  • How heat pumps work,
  • How heat pumps benefit human health and the environment,
  • How to navigate contracting and installation, and
  • How to take advantage of financial incentives.
