Accident, Critical Illness & Hospital Indemnity Coverage

The Town of Wellesley offers three (3) different Hartford products as a part of the additional insurance offerings to benefit eligible employees.  Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance and Hospital Indemnity Insurance. These programs pay cash benefits directly to you in the event of an accident, critical illness or hospital stay. This means that you will have added additional financial resources to help with medical costs or ongoing living expenses.

Benefit eligible employees who enroll in a medical insurance plan through the Town will have a choice between free Accident Insurance or free Hospital Indemnity Insurance. If medical insurance is dropped, any free coverage provided will revert to a paid coverage option the day after the drop.
