The WMLP provides a robust suite of offerings to help its customers save energy and reduce their carbon footprint including rebates on electrification and high efficiency equipment (e.g., heat pumps, EV chargers, smart thermostats, rooftop solar), weatherization (insulation and air sealing), energy coaching, home energy assessments, and participation in its opt-out WECARE program to fund local renewable energy projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
In 2025, the WMLP completed a major project to upgrade its electric metering system, with involved the installation of more than 10,500 new AMI (Advanced Meter Infrastructure) meters to homes and businesses throughout the Town.
