Commuter/Regional Railroad

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) offers daily train service to and from Boston via the Framingham/Worcester line.  A new  MBTA Winter Commuter Rail schedule started Monday, January 6 adding back mid-day train service.  This was eliminated for a few months to accommodate construction. The winter schedule includes minor time adjustments to accommodate the slippery rails and ensure safety on the tracks. Are you new to riding the rails?  Visit the MBTA's Beginner's Guide.

BEWARE the inbound and outbound train sometimes switches tracks due to construction activities along the entire line.  Wellesley commuters should  check the schedule and alerts when planning train trips.

$10 Weekend Rail Pass

Enjoy unlimited travel on the Commuter Rail for just $10.00 every weekend. Passes are valid on all lines and zones, Saturdays, Sundays and select holidays. Visit the MBTA's Website for details.

Income-Eligible Reduced Fare Program
