Annual Staff Work Schedule

Each year there are “must do” tasks the staff of the Select Board office must undertake to comply with our Town bylaws and to ensure the proper functioning of the Select Board office.  These tasks are set out with the approximate time of year the work is executed or the appropriate meeting cadence.  

Priorities and Work Plan  

Each year the board sets out their overall priorities and a work plan that is aspirational and in addition to the “must do” annual work schedule described above.  The document sets out broad board goals followed by a detailed workplan for staff.  This is a living document and is updated periodically by the Board at their working retreats. 

Liaison Assignments

Each year, at or around the annual Select Board retreat, the Chair, in consultation with all Board members, appoints members of the Board to act as liaisons to other Town board and committees. There are approximately 50 liaison assignments shared between the members of the Board.
