Equipment

Wellesley Fire Rescue Department apparatus consists of a Command Vehicle, 2 Engines,  Quint, Tower Truck, an Emergency Response Unit (ERU), rescue boat, HazMat Trailer, and 2 additional back up engines.   The apparatus is maintained by a full time mechanic that allows for the equipment to respond to the 4233 incidents.

Engine 1

Engine 1

Engine 1 is stationed at Station 1 at the corner of Weston Road and Central Street and is a 2009 Seagrave Marauder II with a 750 Gallon water tank and 30 Gallon Foam Tank.  

Engine 2

Engine 2 is stationed at FIre Headquarters on Route 9 and is a 2015 E-One Typhoon with a 750 gallon water tank and a 30 gallon Foam tank.

Quint 3

Quint 3

Quint 3 is stationed at Fire Headquarters on Route 9 and is a 2005 Seagrave Marauder II with a 75 foot ladder and a Water Tank of 500 gallons and a Foam tank of 30 gallons.

Tower 2

Tower 2 is stationed at Fire Headquarters on Route 9 and is a 2012 E-One Cyclone II with a 95 foot platform ladder.

ERU

Emergency Response Unit

Emergency Response Unit (ERU) is stationed at Fire Headquarters on Route 9 and is a 1989 AM General 1037 Hummer that has been fitted to perform many specialized tasks including lighting, boat operations, and winter weather operations.

Rescue Boat

The Wellesley Fire Rescue Boat is located at Fire Headquarters on Route 9 and is a 2016 North Atlantic Aluminum hulled RIB Inflatable with a 20 horse power Tahatsu 4 stroke motor.

HazMat Trailer

The Wellesley Fire Rescue HazMat Trailer is located at Station 1 on Weston Road and Central Street and is a 2005 Haulmark trailer.  The Trailer is readily equipped with suits, containment equipment, and cleanup gear. 

Engine 4

Back Up Apparatus

Engine 4 is located at Station one and is a 1991 Pierce Lance with a 500 gallon tank.

Engine 5 is located at Fire Headquarters and is a 1995 Pierce Saber with a 500 gallon tank.
