Merchant Announcement: The parking lot behind the Shake Shack commercial block on Central Street will begin using new technology in October 2025.
Any parker who is not shopping at a business in that block and parks in the private lot will incur a fee of $25 per hour. People who are shopping at stores in the Shake Shack block will not be charged a fee but will need a validation code from one of the businesses in that block.
The new system is being implemented by Linear Retail which owns the commercial block. Read the news release from Linear Retail explaining its decision and this technology.
Please note: This parking lot is NOT owned by the Town of Wellesley but is a private lot.
Shoppers have the option of parking in the Weston Road Lot nearby which is owned by the Town. View map of Wellesley municipal parking lots.
