Serve on the Wellesley Historic District Commission. There is an immediate opening for one new volunteer member.
The Commission reviews alterations to buildings and structures within the Town's six local historic districts. Wellesley has a historic district in the Cottage Street area as well as five single building historic districts.
Preferred candidates are residents who may be members of the Wellesley Historical Society, American Institute of Architects, Board of Realtors, or a resident or property owner in the historic district.
The seven Commission members are appointed by the Select Board and serve three-year terms.
Interested individuals should email a statement of interest and resume to the Wellesley Planning Department.
