The Wellesley Police Department recently learned that Chief Pilecki’s world famous spaghetti sauce recipe has been revealed and published in the newly released “Wellesley At Home Cookbook” by the Wellesley Hills Junior Women’s Club.
The Chief Pilecki Spaghetti Sauce recipe has been a closely guarded family secret for many years. Prior requests by members of the WPD for copies of the secret sauce were always angrily rebuffed by the Chief, with a repeated vow to never reveal the recipe or it’s origins. However, we are happy to announce that the sauce, somehow, has made its way to the cookbook for all to enjoy.
Note: We are still working on obtaining the secret recipe for the famed Chief Pilecki Apple Spice Cake (version 2.0-the first one was good, but the second one with the crumbles on it was much better).
Information on how to get your hands on the secret ingredients of the Chief Pilecki Spaghetti Sauce, as well as many other recipes, (including info on the upcoming Luminary Night) can be found below from the Wellesley Hills Junior Women’s Club:
This holiday season Wellesley Hills Junior Women’s Club (WHJWC) will be rekindling a beloved winter tradition and encouraging residents to brighten up the town by way of Luminary Night on Friday, December 11th (rain date Sunday, December 13th).
We are also thrilled to announce the new for this year, limited edition Wellesley at Home Cookbook, unlocking access to cherished recipes from notables in the local food scene as well as tried and true favorites from current and former WHJWC members.
As with all WHJWC fundraisers, the proceeds from the cookbook and luminary kit sales will go directly to our programs that support seniors, education, healthcare and the civic life of the Wellesley community. WHJWC also gives annual college scholarships to both graduating high school seniors and college undergraduates who need financial support to make college dreams possible.
