[ARCHIVED] Warrants Posted for October 2020 Special Town Meetings

The Board of Selectmen will convene two remote Special Town Meetings beginning on Monday, October 26, 2020. 

Warrants for both meetings have been posted by the Town Constable at Town Hall and at the Wellesley Police Department. They are also available on the Town of Wellesley website. STM_Oct Warrants

The first Special Town Meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on October 26. Town Meeting members will consider an appropriation for construction costs related to the Wellesley Middle School building systems. 

The second Special Town Meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. on October 26. Town Meeting members will consider appropriations to the Town operating budget and special capital projects, amendments to the Zoning Bylaws, and Citizen Petitions that were not considered during the June 2020 Annual Town Meeting. 

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the Town Moderator has received approval for both Special Town Meetings to take place via Zoom videoconferencing.

The Advisory Committee will hold a remote public hearing on the Warrants on Wednesday, September 23 at 7 p.m. via Zoom. 

All motions for articles on the Warrants are due in the Selectmen’s Office by Friday, October 9 at 5 p.m.
