The Town Clerk’s Office is reminding residents of key Vote-by-Mail deadlines for the Tuesday, September 1, 2020 Election.
All requested Vote-by-Mail ballots have been mailed. Residents who have not yet received their ballot should contact the Town Clerk’s Office at 781-431-1019, ext. 2252 to request another mailed ballot. Election ballots may not be picked up in person.
The U.S. Post Office does not forward election mail. Residents who are currently having mail forwarded will not receive a ballot - it will be returned to Town Hall.
All completed Vote-by-Mail ballots must be returned by 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1. Late ballots will not be counted.
Due to mailing delays, the Clerk’s office is recommending that voters hand-deliver ballots to the secure ballot and payment drop box at Wellesley Town Hall.
Residents may also vote in person this week and on Election Day. Early In-Person Voting is taking place at the Tolles Parsons Center (500 Washington Street) now through Friday, August 28.
In-Person Voting will also be held at various polling locations on Election Day.
