TPC ribbon cutting

The Wellesley Fire Department served pancakes and safety tips to local senior citizens on October 11th as part of National Fire Prevention Week.

This event began three years ago and is more popular every year. With their fire trucks parked outside, firefighters staffed the buffet line for Council on Aging (COA) participants.

During breakfast, Lt. Paul Delaney gave a brief educational presentation that included fire safety tips for older adults.

The fire safety breakfast is co-hosted by the Council on Aging and the Fire Department at the Tolles Parsons Center.
