Aerial mosquito spraying in Wellesley is now complete.
The updated map from the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) show that the planned spray areas in Town were finished overnight on September 15.
Residents can now open windows and doors and turn on fans and air conditioners at night.
Currently, no further spraying is planned for Wellesley.
As mosquitoes are still active, the Health Department continues to remind residents to take personal precautions to avoid mosquito bites. Limit outdoor activities during peak mosquito times of dusk to dawn and wear insect repellent and long sleeves and pants when outside.
Please visit the Health Department website for information about mosquito-borne diseases such as Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) and West Nile Virus (WNV).
