Ramps on I-90 (Mass Pike) and I-95 (Route 128) in Newton and Weston will be closed nightly on Friday, February 7, Saturday, February 8, and on Monday, February 10 through Wednesday, February 12.
Traffic will be rerouted and drivers should expect delays and reduced speeds.
The closures are due to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) work on the Newton/Weston bridge rehabilitation project at the I-90/I-95 interchange.
Drivers seeking to access I-95 (Route 128) southbound from I-90 eastbound and westbound will be rerouted to I-95 (Route 128) northbound, where they can take exit 41 to reverse direction and continue onto I-95 (Route 128) southbound.
Signage, law enforcement details, and message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area. Work is weather dependent and may change without notice.
