Norfolk County Register of Deeds William O'Donnell will hold office hours in Wellesley on Thursday, June 20.
Residents are invited to stop by the Kingsbury Room at the Wellesley Police Department between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. No advance appointment is needed.
This event is part of ongoing efforts to bring the Registry of Deeds directly to the residents of Norfolk County.
"These office hours allow us to bring the services of the Registry of Deeds directly to residents without the inconvenience of having them travel to the central office in Dedham," said Register O'Donnell.
The Registry of Deeds is the principal office for property records in Norfolk County, cataloging and housing more than 13.1 million land documents dating back to 1793.
During office hours, Registry staff can assist residents with questions or concerns about property records or land documents such as deeds and mortgage discharges. Staff can also bring original land documents back to the Registry office for recording.
