The Attorney General's Office has approved amendments to the Town General Bylaws and Zoning Bylaws that were passed at 2023 Special Town Meeting in November.
The Town Clerk's Office was notified of these approvals on Thursday, February 1. The changes are now in effect and include:
General Bylaws
- Article 8 – Amend Town Bylaw Article 19.44, Purchasing Guidelines – School Committee action
- Article 11 - Amend Wetlands Bylaw and Non-Criminal Disposition for Wetlands Violations Town Bylaw Article 52.B.1.h - Wetlands Protection Committee action
Zoning Bylaws
- Article 13, Motion 1 – Amend Inclusionary Zoning Bylaw 5.7.B – Planning Board action
- Article 13, Motion 2 – Amend Inclusionary Zoning Bylaw 5.7.C.2 – Planning Board action
Any claims of invalidity of the amendments to the Town Bylaws or Zoning Bylaws by reason of any defect in the procedure of adoption or amendment may only be made within ninety (90) days of the date of posting.
