The Wellesley Police Department is pleased to offer a FREE Civilian Response to an Active Shooter Event (C.R.A.S.E.) training for Wellesley residents.
The Civilian Response to an Active Shooter Event training is designed to empower citizens with common sense techniques that prepares you to react should the unimaginable ever occur. The training focuses on simple tactics that any citizen can employ to greatly enhance personal safety and survivability in a public venue, including the workplace, shopping mall or public gathering. The tactics are specifically tailored to be flexible and easy to remember by anyone.
The class will be approximately two hours in length. Class members will have the option to participate in a realistic drill at the conclusion in order to practice and utilize the techniques that were learned.
The class will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Seating is limited. Pre-registration is a must!
