First quarter fiscal year (FY) 2023 tax bills have been mailed out. Please be advised that tax payers will see a 6.8% increase in tax bills as a result of the December 7, 2021 debt exclusion to build two new elementary schools at the Hardy and Hunnewell Elementary School sites. In February, 2022, the Town borrowed its first portion of the monies needed to construct the schools. The first quarter FY23 tax bill is the first bill to reflect the added impact of this “outside the levy” borrowing.
