Happy New Year, Wellesley!
Town buildings close at noon on Wednesday, December 31 and buildings will be closed all day on Thursday, January 1, 2026. The RDF is also closed all day on January 1. Regular hours of operation resume on Friday, January 2, 2026, but please check with specific departments as open and closed hours may vary.
Free parking at all bagged 2-hour street meters continues through Saturday, January 3. Parking meter fee collections resume on Monday, January 5.

Please remember that wrapping paper and tissue paper are generally NOT recyclable. Dispose of these items in the trash.
Also, construction is beginning at the RDF Administration building, and heavy equipment will be in use. Please be careful and drive slowly when at the RDF in the coming weeks.

Give feedback on the 2025 athletic season at the Hunnewell Track & Field complex across from Wellesley High School. Attend the Natural Resources Commission (NRC) meeting on Thursday, January 8, 2026 to offer comments and suggestions on areas that can be improved in the coming year.
Members of the School Committee, Wellesley Public Schools Athletic Department staff, DPW staff and public safety officials will take part in this discussion.

Renew your dog's license for 2026. The renewal period begins on Thursday, January 1. All dog licenses must be renewed before April 1, 2026.
From the Treasurer/Collector
Real estate and personal property tax bills for the 3rd quarter of FY2026 were mailed on Monday, December 29, 2025. Please watch for them in the coming days. Payments are due on or before Monday, February 2, 2026.
