Changes to Wellesley's residential building, plumbing/gas, and electric permit fees go into effect on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
These changes update the fee schedule for all residential permits to better reflect current costs associated with permit processing, inspections, and enforcement, and better align Wellesley fees with those in neighboring peer communities.
Fees for commercial permits will not change.
The modifications were approved at the January 21 Select Board meeting, following a public hearing on this topic where no opposition was raised.
