Help determine the pickleball needs in Wellesley.
The Recreation Commission is holding a virtual public meeting on Thursday, January 25 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the Town's pickleball feasibility and design study.
The meeting will take place on Zoom; the community is invited to attend and give feedback. Topics to be discussed include the project goals, timeline, public survey, and other items.
If you would like to attend, please email the Recreation Department and request the Zoom link. The link will be sent to all participants at noon on January 25.
In November 2023, Special Town Meeting approved funding for a feasibility study to better understand the pickleball needs in our community, establish criteria to use in evaluating properties in Town, and identify two possible locations for pickleball courts.
The study is being conducted by consultants Weston & Sampson. The study findings, along with public input, will help determine the next steps in this project.
