The graduation ceremony for the Wellesley High School Class of 2023 is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2 at 5:00 p.m. at Hunnewell Field.
The start time for the Wellesley High School graduation ceremonies has been moved up in hopes of avoiding inclement weather. Graduates will need to arrive at Hunnewell Field by 3 p.m.
Due to the hot temperatures, WHS will have at least one cooling tent set up with water and emergency personnel.
"We are so excited to celebrate the wonderful class of 2023 at our ceremony this afternoon," said WHS Principal Jamie Chisum
Traffic in the areas around Wellesley High School will be impacted. Carpooling is recommended. A shuttle bus from the WMS parking lot will begin service at 2:30 PM.
