Wellesley municipal buildings and departments will be closed on Monday, May 29 for Memorial Day.
The Recycling and Disposal Facility (RDF) will also be closed.
All Wellesley Free Library branches (Main Branch, Hills Branch, and Fells Branch) will be closed all weekend from Saturday, May 27 through Monday, May 29.
Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 30. Please check department webpages for specific hours of operation.
Memorial Day Ceremony
The Town of Wellesley Memorial Day ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 30. Everyone in the community is invited to attend as we remember those who gave their lives for our Country.
The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery (148 Brook Street) and continue at 7:30 p.m. in front of the Wellesley War Memorial at Town Hall (525 Washington Street). Please note: A portion of Washington Street in front of Town Hall will be closed for a short time during this event.
In the event of rain, the ceremony will take place in the Wellesley Middle School auditorium beginning at 7:00 p.m.
