Camp Apex
Camp Apex
Camp Apex is designed for campers entering Grades 5–6 who are ready for the most independent and dynamic camp experience we offer. This is a program built for older campers who want more freedom, bigger challenges, and opportunities to lead—while still being supported by experienced staff.
At Apex, campers are treated like the capable, growing young people they are. The program emphasizes choice, responsibility, and collaboration, giving campers real ownership over how they spend their day.
Choice-Driven Programming
Apex campers participate in extended choice blocks, where they select activities that match their interests and energy. These blocks encourage:
Independence and decision-making
Problem-solving and creativity
Leadership and teamwork
Activities may include advanced games and sports, creative projects, strategy challenges, outdoor adventures, and special interest clubs.
Special Camp Highlights
✨ Weekly Field Trips
Apex campers head out on weekly field trips on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Past trips have included Water Wizz, Six Flags, Water Country.
🌊 Morses Pond Days
Designated pond days give campers time to swim, relax, and enjoy classic summer fun in a more social, independent setting.
Building Leadership & Confidence
Camp Apex is more than just fun—it’s a bridge to what comes next. Campers are encouraged to:
