At the February 7, 2023 School Committee meeting:

• The Committee heard a presentation from Dr. Hannah Tolla and Joanne Grant and held a discussion regarding the MetroWest Adolescent Health Survey results

• The Committee voted unanimously to approve the FY24 operating budget in the amount of $87,832,188 and the FY24 cash capital budget in the amount of $1,241,365.

• The Committee voted unanimously to approve the job description for Director of Human Resources ahead of the pending job posting.

• The Committee voted unanimously to eliminate policy GBGAA - Health Examinations

• The Bullying Policy, Prevention, and Intervention Plan (BPIP) as well as policies LBC - Approval of New Private Schools; EEA - Student Transportation Services; DN: School Assets Disposal Procedures; JC - Elementary School Attendance Zone were discussed. Proposed revisions to the policies are available on the WPS homepage with a vote planned for the February 28 meeting
