Tuesday, April 21st at 2:00 p.m. - BOB" Bernstein on Broadway" with Michael Blauner - Leonard Bernstein made his mark on American society through his work on television, his conducting, and his musical compositions. His most enduring Broadway work was "East Side Story." OOPS--that was the original title of what became "West Side Story." This discussion follows Bernstein's progression-and decline-as a Broadway musical composer from "On Your Toes" to "1600 Pennsylvania Avenue." This music is unforgettable! About Michael: Michael spent the first fifty years of his life learning about musical and operatic productions and putting these ideas in a sociological framework. The past 33 years he has spent discussing his ideas in front of audiences comprised of a majority of senior adults. He loves teaching and getting people involved in musical ideas. And always with a touch of humor! Click here PASSWORD: 366488 Sign up here : seniorlearningnetwork@gmail.com Look for more updates and programs tomorrow. Until then, smile, be well and stay strong. We are here for you and in this together! All the best to each and every one of you!
