Dear Tolles Parsons Members:
As of right now, no Wellesley resident over 50 years old is a presumptive positive Covid-19 case. Effective 4:00 PM today, March 12, 2020, the Tolles Parsons Center will be closed for approximately two weeks in support of minimizing health risks to this population. The decision to reopen will be assessed on a daily basis and in conjunction with the Wellesley Board of Health and town officials. All classes, activities, and the lunch program are cancelled. The fitness center is also closed. Critical social services provided by the Health and Human Services Administrator remain available. The COA bus will be operating Monday-Friday exclusively to provide transportation to the grocery story, pharmacy, and/or to medical appointments. To ensure appropriate social distancing, a limited number of riders will be on the bus at any given time. All appropriate measures to disinfect the bus are done each morning and regularly throughout the day. Hand sanitizer is also available to riders at all times.
