Friendly Reminder about the Tolles Parsons Center Lunch Program

Lunch at The Tolles Parsons Center is a vibrant program offered to seniors four days a week – Tuesday to Fridays from noon to 1:00 pm. Two fabulous Wellesley restaurants cater our lunch program – Wellesley Bakery (Wednesdays) and Express Gourmet (Tuesday/Thursday/Friday). The lunch program is entirely managed by COA volunteers who serve the meals and enjoy interacting with our lunch guests.  The Friends of the Wellesley Council on Aging (FWCOA) very generously subsidize lunch for Wellesley seniors (age 60+).  Wellesley diners accepting full FWCOA subsidy pay $4.00 but are welcome to pay more (up to $9.00) if they so choose.    The fee is $9.00 per meal for non-Wellesley diners.  Lunch payments are due to our lunch cashier upon arrival.  Call the COA at 781-235-3961 or visit the TPC to make your lunch reservation(s).  Reservations must be made one business day prior by 9:30 a.m.  Lunch is served at 12:00 p.m. and menus are available at the TPC or on the COA website: www.wellesleycoa.org.  In the event you need to cancel your lunch reservation, please call the TPC as soon as possible.  If there is an extra lunch a senior may purchase it for $4 or $9 depending on their resident status.  Meals should be enjoyed together by the participants who have signed up for the program.  Custodial staff sets up the room in accordance with the number of guests and attendance is limited to those who have signed up.  As a safety measure please  do not move the tables and chairs.  As Please inform COA staff and volunteers of any food allergies at the time of registration.  As a gentle reminder per Board of Health requirements patrons are not permitted to bring lunches from outside in to the lunch program.  Patrons are welcome to bring lunch to the Café and the outside patio when the weather gets nice.  Feedback on the program is always welcome.  As always, we extend our deepest appreciation to the FWCOA for their continued support and generous subsidy of our lunch program.

Please do not reply to this e-mail. For additional information please call the COA at 781-235-3961 or visit our website at www.wellesleycoa.org
