The Council on Aging has a brand new bus!
Leased from the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority (MWRTA) the bus arrived last week and is ready for riders. The new vehicle is fully ADA accessible with steps that are wider and less steep than the previous bus. It's also the first bus in the MWRTA fleet equipped with a backup camera.
The Town leases the bus from the MWRTA, which provides support and reservation assistance for senior citizens who want to use the COA free shuttle service.
The COA bus is available Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Reservation information, the complete bus schedule and daily destinations are available on the Council on Aging website.
