[ARCHIVED] 50,000 New Vaccine Appointments

COVID Vaccine

50,000 new COVID-19 vaccine appointments opened on Thursday, February 25. Those eligible to book appointments are individuals 65 years and older or those with certain medical conditions.

Appointments can be scheduled online using the Massachusetts vaccine finder website. New upgrades to the site, including a digital waiting room, will hopefully make it easier to book appointments.

The mass vaccination clinic at the Natick Mall is among the locations nearest to Wellesley. Other large clinics are located at Fenway Park in Boston and at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro.

On March 1, the clinic at TripAdvisor headquarters in Needham will resume new vaccinations. This clinic is open to patients in the Mass General Brigham health care network and is operated in partnership with Newton Wellesley Hospital.

CVS is also adding clinics at 17 new retail pharmacy locations. Appointments for these clinics can be booked online through the CVS pharmacy website

Senior residents who are having difficulty scheduling appointments can call the Wellesley Council on Aging for help at 781-235-3961.
