Individuals who accompany a senior 75+ to one of the State's COVID-19 mass vaccination clinics may now also receive a shot.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is providing this new opportunity to encourage seniors to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Along with the senior citizen, one companion or caregiver is permitted to schedule a vaccine appointment at or close to the same time.
These appointments can be scheduled starting the morning of Thursday, February 11 and currently are ONLY available at the State mass vaccination clinics located nearby at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro and Fenway Park in Boston, or further away in Danvers and in Springfield.
Appointments must be scheduled by using the Massachusetts COVID-19 vaccine website. PLEASE NOTE: The Council on Aging CANNOT book companion appointments.

Natick Mall Vaccine Clinic. The State will open another large vaccine clinic at the Natick Mall on Monday, February 22, 2021.
This clinic is in partnership with Labcorp, a U.S. clinical laboratory network.
Eligible individuals can begin scheduling appointments at the Natick Mall clinic starting the morning of Thursday, February 18. At this time, the State hasn't announced if this clinic will offer companion appointments.
