Mask Advisory for Indoor Public Areas

Masks should fit properly over the nose and mouth. A surgical mask should be the minimum mask worn, with KN95 and N95 masks providing further protection.  Cloth masks do not offer significant protection and are not recommended.

Surgical masks and other medical grade masks are available to order online, and in pharmacy and grocery stores.

Wellesley businesses are also encouraging patrons to wear masks indoors whenever possible, while at work, and in restaurants when not actively eating or drinking.

Mask Mandate for Municipal BuildingsMasks Required

Masks are currently required indoors in all Wellesley municipal buildings and offices as ordered by the Board of Health and Select Board, regardless of vaccination status.

Town staff are required to wear surgical masks or higher when indoors in offices and working with the public.
