Nourishing Wellesley

NourishinNourishing wellesley.logog Wellesley is a program providing financial support for local restaurants and healthy meals to residents in need. In 2021, Wellesley is received $40,000 in State aid for this food assistance initiative. With a second grant in the spring of 2022, the program moved to a Grab 'n Go option where participants can pick up meals prepared by specific restaurants at two locations: the Barton Road Community Room, or the Wellesley Food Pantry. 

This new initiative continues a program that was started last year with money from the Community Fund for Wellesley COVID-19 Relief Fund.

Restaurants Support Frontline Workers!

 Wellesley restaurants helped feed workers on the front lines of the Coronavirus pandemic by providing 600 meals to be delivered to 20 local area hospitals.
