-At the moment we have applications in for 3 buildings in town to be added to the National Register of Historic Places.
-The Commission has received Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds to renovate the exterior of the Wellesley Farms Train Station. The slate roof has been replaced and the repointing will take place in the spring of 2006.
-The Commission is working with the Board of the Wellesley Country Club to commemorate the site of the historic vote in 1880 that established the Town's independence from Needham;
-We are working with the developers to find a design for the old Wellesley Inn site that is in keeping with the neighborhood and strongly evokes the old Inn's interior and exterior;
-We are lobbying to retain the 1938 portion of the Wellesley High School as the School Committee begins planning for major renovations;
-The Commission consulted on the renovation of the Walnut Street Fire Station.
