The Wellesley Recreation Department offers programs year round and publishes seasonal brochures for Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Registration is held four times a year. Adult Education Programs . The summer program includes Morses Pond Beach, Camp Joey ( Age 5-7), Camp Quest ( Ages 8-12) and SUMMERTIME concerts.
All Recreation Department programs are self-supporting. Fees charged for programs cover the cost of materials, pay instructor salaries and help defray other costs. Non-residents may register for classes and are charged a $10 non-resident fee.
All recreation facilities are maintained by the Park & Tree Division of Wellesley Department of Public Works.
The Wellesley Recreation Commission
The Wellesley Recreation Commission consists of five elected members, who meet regulary to review policy, programs, procedures and the fee structure. The Commission welcomes community input.
