Extended Afternoon:
There is a separate registration form for extended afternoons. You may sign up for extended afternoons beginning in June when the camp balance is due, or when you return your Emergency Information Form. Balance and Emergency form are due by June 15. Once camp has begun, sign-up can be done on a weekly, daily or full summer basis with the office or the Camp Director. Please call the Recreation Office to receive the Extended Day form.
Extended Afternoons: June 26 - August 18
4:45 pm to 6:15 pm
$7 per each afternoon
EMERGENCY INFORMATION & HEALTH FORM: The Emergency Information/Health Form must be filled out and returned at least one week before your child attends camp. This form will be given when you register.
Your child will not be allowed to attend camp unless the form is on file.
DISCIPLINE POLICY: Your child’s wellbeing and suitability for participating in the camp program are extremely important to us. Therefore, should any Recreation Department administrator determine that a child’s conduct renders him or her unsuitable for camp; we reserve the right to remove the child from the program. The cancellation policy will apply in this circumstance. Minor discipline problems will be reported to parents.
Camp Information
Ratios |
A maximum of 60 campers per session. Camp Joey ratio is no more than one staff person to six campers; Camp Quest ratio is no more than one staff to 10 campers. |
Staff |
All counselors are 18 or older, attend an orientation session that includes First Aid/CPR training and have been CORI/SORI checked. |
Lunch |
Each camper should bring a lunch and beverage. Refrigeration is provided except for field trips. A late morning snack is provided each day for Camp Joey campers. |
Uniform |
Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt to wear on field trips. Campers should bring a swim suit & towel everyday. |
Morses Pond |
Campers will be bused to Morses Pond to swim and play in the afternoon. |
Field Trips |
Field trips are mostly within an hour's drive from camp. If you don’t not want your child to attend a field trip, you must arrange to keep the child out of camp that day. Field trips are a part of the camp experience. Field trips are not booked until May. |

Cancellation Policy
•$50 for withdrawal from 2 or more weeks
•$25 for withdrawal from one week
•Switching sessions/dates constitutes a withdrawal and the cancellation fee applies
•Removal of a camper by the administrative staff is considered a withdrawal |
