Wellesley Maps

The following town maps were prepared by the GIS Office of the Network and Information Systems Department. For more information about GIS in the Town of Wellesley, please see the Geographic Information Systems page.

Several of these maps can be purchased in hard copy (paper) format at the Office of the Town Clerk. Maps are available in 36"x20" and 24"x13" sizes for $10.00 and $5.00 respectively.

Items marked with an (X) are available for immediate purchase.

To request a GIS map of a specific property, please complete the Wellesley Map Request Form and return it with your payment to the Office of the Town Clerk.

	Road Map (X) - This map is provided as a general reference map to all residents of and visitors to the Town of Wellesley. Each road is indexed according to a map grid.
	Voting Precinct Map (X) - This map shows voting precincts in the Town of Wellesley. This map reflects precinct lines that went into effect on January 1, 2012. More information on elections, polling places, and voter registration can be found on the Town Clerk's website. 	Zoning Map (X) - This map shows zoning and zoning overlay districts in the Town of Wellesley, MA. Please note that this is not an "official" zoing map. The official Zoning Map is on file with the office of the Town Clerk --- printed versions of this official map can be purchased there.
	Wetlands Viewer - This interactive map shows wetland buffers and riverfront areas in the Town of Wellesley. Please note that this map is provided as a general reference only. According to the MA Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. CH. 131, S. 40) and the Town of Wellesley Wetlands Protection Bylaw (Article 44), all wetland delineations are subject to verification by on-site observation. This map was developed by the GIS Office utilizing ArcGIS Server technology. More information on wetlands can be found on the Wetlands Protection Committe's website.
	Hydrant Flushing Map - This map shows flushing zones utilized by the Town of Wellesley DPW Water & Sewer Division in their semi-annual hydrant flushing program. For more information on the flushing program, please contact the Water & Sewer Division at (781) 235-7600 x3350.
	Government Owned Land Map - This map shows all lands in the Town of Wellesley that are owned or managed by various town departments, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and neighboring communities. Please contact individual departments directly with questions about public access to these lands.
	School District Map - This map shows Wellesley's elementary school district boundaries. These boundaries went into effect on November 27, 2001. For more information regarding school districting, please contact the Wellesley Public Schools at (781) 446-6200.
	Winter Moth Treatment Map - This map highlights town trees to be sprayed to control winter moth caterpillars that are harmfully defoliating trees. Based on weather conditions and caterpillar populations, applications will take place from April 8th thru May 24th between 5:00 am and 10:00 am. 	Trails Map (X) - actual map sizes are 36"x24" and 24"x18" - This map shows all trails in Wellesley currently maintained by the Trails Committee. Open spaces (e.g. public parks, conservation land, educational properties) and other points of interest are highlighted. The Trails Committee has also prepared Trails Maps and Guides for four areas in Town with extensive trail systems. These maps can be found on the Trails Committee website by clicking here.
	Road Moratorium Map - The Town of Wellesley Road Moratorium Map highlights all roads that have been paved within the previous 5 years. The moratorium prohibits street-cutting on newly constructed or re-constructed pavement less than 5 years old except in cases of emergencies. In such emergency situations, an extended maintenance fee will be charged for cuts and cold planing required on newly paved streets.
