- This interactive map shows wetland buffers and riverfront areas in the Town of Wellesley. Please note that this map is provided as a general reference only. According to the MA Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. CH. 131, S. 40) and the Town of Wellesley Wetlands Protection Bylaw (Article 44), all wetland delineations are subject to
verification by on-site observation. This map was developed by the GIS Office utilizing ArcGIS Server technology.

- This map highlights town trees to be sprayed to control winter moth caterpillars that are harmfully defoliating trees. Based on weather conditions and caterpillar populations, applications will take place from April 8th thru May 24th between 5:00 am and 10:00 am.

Trails Map (X) - actual map sizes are 36"x24" and 24"x18" - This map shows all trails in
Wellesley currently maintained by the Trails Committee. Open spaces (e.g. public parks, conservation land, educational properties) and other points of interest are highlighted.
The Trails Committee has also prepared Trails Maps and Guides for four areas in Town with extensive trail systems. These maps can be found on the Trails Committee website by clicking here.

- The Town of Wellesley Road Moratorium Map highlights all roads that have been paved within the previous 5 years. The moratorium prohibits street-cutting on newly constructed or re-constructed pavement less than 5 years old
except in cases of emergencies. In such emergency situations, an extended maintenance fee will be charged for cuts and cold planing required on newly paved streets. |
