Free Home Energy Audits for Residents

Sign up for a no-cost home energy audit and learn how to help cut winter heating costs and lower utility bills. The 2018 Town-wide Energy Assessment Campaign sponsored by the Wellesley Municipal Light Plant (WMLP) and National Grid is offering no-cost energy audits, free light bulbs and rebates and assistance on insulation, heating equipment and appliances.

To help residents better understand the available options, the Sustainable Energy Committee is sponsoring two upcoming informational seminars at the Tolles Parsons Center at 500 Washington Street. Attendees are encouraged to bring oil, gas and electric bills; volunteers will help determine energy ratings and assist with the audit process.

Seminars are open to all Wellesley residents and are planned for:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 1 PM
  • Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 1 PM

To sign up, email the Wellesley Council on Aging or call the COA at 781-235-396. Walk-ins are welcome.
